Turan Vural @turanzv

Hi. I'm Turan, a third-year PhD student working with Dr. Rafail Ostrovsky at UCLA. I'm interested in cryptography. My research focuses on multiparty computation, blockchain, and zero-knowledge.

Previously, I earned a Master's in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University, where I wrote my thesis on Chinese tech policy as a Schwarzman Scholar, and a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a B.A. in German from The University of Texas at Austin.

I also conduct research with Fenbushi in collaboration with our protfolio companies. Recently, I've been fortunate enough to investigate SVM execution with Eclipse and data availability on Filecoin.
